Many of us would agree that  the sayings “In the blink of an eye, your whole life can be turned upside down” is true. Living in the pandemic world of today, we have learned that what we once took for granted is no longer certain.

Anxiety, depression and substance abuse is on the rise. People are living in isolation. We no longer know if we will be able to travel again and visit our dear friends and family.

I too, suffered many losses, some of which I could not foreseen. Looking back, some of the mistakes I’ve done were easily preventable.

I have a strong work ethics and I love what I do. I don’t let people down, yet I was let down by my friends who meant the most to me. Such is life, one would say. I walked away from places that no longer welcomed me.

I lost my dad. I still have lots of healing to do. I learned, however, that true love can face any obstacles in life. True friends don’t leave.

I decided to start a new chapter, turn my business around, walk away from what held me down and reconnect with people who lift up my spirit. You can do it, too! You are already doing it. Let’s refocus to what matters.

Success comes in phases. Success is relative. Attitude is everything! It is never too late.
